Keena Rothhammer (born Santa Clara, California) is a former freestyle swimmer from the United States.

She won the gold medal in the 800m Freestyle at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, West Germany. At the same tournament the 15-year old captured the bronze medal in the 200m Freestyle.

Following her triumph at the Munich Games, Rothhammer won the gold medal in the 200m Freestyle (2:04.99) and the silver in the 400m (4:21.50) at the 1973 World Championships in Belgrade.

That year, she was named the North American Athlete of the Year.

During her career, Rothhammer set two world records, 10 individual American records, and won 10 American national championships.

In 1991, she was Inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame.
